These are the questions in the forefront of many people’s minds:

Why has this current and widespread disease happened?

How can it be avoided? How can it be stopped?

And, when will all of this be over…?

This Coronavirus pandemic has affected everyone in every country. There’s just no escaping it. The question we all have is: “What in the world is happening?”

So many people have tried to give a rational explanation. For example, “Mother earth is doing what needs to be done to reduce the overpopulation that is in our world today.” They say this is not so much to personalize nature, but to state that what is taking place with this viral infection is an automatic response of nature to the fact that the earth simply cannot feed the gross number of people there is today on planet earth.

But is this a really satisfying answer? 

I’ve continually seen on the internet and on the TV, Christians as well as non-Christians, saying simply “hang on, things will return to the way they were very soon”…

But really…, is this the message that gives us the hope everyone’s longing for?
