CHOSEN

CHOSEN to be on the Team…, and in the Game

Have you been winning or struggling
‘in this game of life’?

Sadly many people have tried to be ‘good’, and to ‘help others’, but when tempted by this world and all it has to offer, they chose to walk away from God. Then while enjoying the pleasures of this life, they discovered they still feel somehow ‘empty in their soul’. They feel cheated – the world has not given to them what they feel they had been entitled to. Then to justify their feelings, they point their finger in anger at God, and blame him for their struggles in life and their feelings of emptiness.

But before you give up on life…, and before you give up on God…, I want to tell you that the meaning, purpose and fulfillment of your life can still be found. You can still find real love. In fact you can still find a way to have your life filled with joy. You can still be a great person with tremendous significance.

Don’t stop your searching…, and whatever you do, don’t throw in the towel… It’s still early ‘in this game of life’.

The good news is that you have been given another chance, and realizing it or not, you have been ‘chosen to be on the team’.

You may feel that you are not qualified to be on the team, or that because of the way you have lived, God has you in the penalty box. But no, he wants you not only ‘on the team’, but he wants you ‘in the game’.

So the question now is, “How good a player will you be?”

This book will give you some valuable insights and instructions, about how to overcome your fears and many of the struggles in your life that you are facing. This is not a ‘self-help book’, and it’s not a psychology book, but it certainly has a lot of powerful concepts in it – some you may have never thought of, or possibly never even considered before.

You will be amazed after reading and applying all of the principles presented in this book. You will have discovered and experienced for yourself – ‘how to live the best life possible’…, and you will have found  ‘how to become a real success’… You will have learned how to play well ‘in this game of life’.

CHAPTER ONE – (begins as follows…)

I have to admit there are days when I do not feel very special. You probably have had days like that, too. Life seems pointless and meaningless at times. But then I start looking around at this marvelous world, and I get inspired.

Everything has been created for a specific and individual purpose. And everything also has a part in a much bigger picture or plan as well.

Like each instrument in an orchestra, one instrument alone may sound nice, but when you put that one instrument together with a group of other instruments, there can be a wonderful and even more melodious sound created.

____________________________________________________

Consider this…

You are just one person, and you may think of yourself as unimportant in the scheme of things. But God knows differently – you are important to him and important in the fulfillment of his great master plan of everything he has created.

Just like the orchestra illustration in chapter one of this book, the sounds we love to hear from the orchestra would not be the same if you were to delete one or two, or more of the instruments – each one is not only important, but each one is critically essential.

In the same way, you have been ‘chosen to be on the team’ in this game of life, and you need to believe God when he says that you are important and essential. And the winning the game depends upon how well you play ‘in the game’.
